Play Cushion
This canvas features a screen print of some sequence photographs I had taken of myself playing on a pogo stick. It also features some of the absent minded margin doodles that I enlarged for my other paintings from around this time. (including Out of the cave, out of the trees aka Kong Wave, 2006 - which was shortlisted for the Celeste Art Prize 2006).
I decided to use up oddments of materials to recycle as useful products, so elsewhere on this site are envelopes made from test prints, as well as not half bad test prints at Recession Buster prices!
This cushion is machine sewn by me, and its backing is strong off white furnishing fabric and includes one of my old school name tapes by way of a signature.
